Preparation
Write your to-do list the evening before. This is common practice for many successful people. Preparing your list in advance gives you space to think more clearly. It also gives you a head start in the morning, so you are ready to go.
Prioritise
Pick 3 things that need attention that same day and prioritise them in order of urgency. When you do this, you’ll find that everything doesn’t need completing the same day, you can forward some tasks to the next day. This eases pressure and your list may not appear as daunting.
Minimise distractions
Turn off all notifications and put your phone on silent to avoid distractions. It may help to have a certain time that you check your notifications and emails, etc.
Quick wins
If you are feeling unmotivated and you are procrastinating, start with doing smaller tasks first for quick, easy wins before you tackle the more challenging tasks, this helps build momentum and makes you feel accomplished.
Big projects
Once you are in the flow of things and it has become a habit, try starting the big projects first and see how that goes. You may be pleasantly surprised and when you do complete the task, you’ll feel amazing!

Tick of your to-do list as you complete each task, this will help you get a sense of achievement.
Treat yourself
When you have achieved what you set out to, make sure you give yourself a pat on the back and reward yourself because you deserve to. This also acts as an incentive to do more the next day.
